Scarlett Johansson is an American actress and performer who was born in New York City, the city of New York, on November 22nd, 1984. Her performance has won her acclaim across a wide range of genres including the genres of period dramas or thrillers, as well as action films. Johansson is the daughter of an architect and a producer was raised within New York City. Her twin brother Hunter and her were her youngest siblings. Then, she was awarded the praise of critics for playing a teenage girl who had been injured and resulted in her being disfigured on screen in The Horse Whisperer (1998). The film gained her more acclaim for her performance in Ghost World (2002) as the self-deprecating outcast Rebecca. She worked on various projects throughout the USA as she made her stage debut. She studied at the Stonestreet Studios Conservatory of the New York University Tisch School of the Arts.
